Our People
The founder is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Deepaa began her career in PwC Malaysia as an external auditor after graduating with an honors from Birmingham City University, UK.
She has over 10 years of experience serving Bursa listed clients and private entities before opening her own practice. Post PwC, she joined Kumpulan Naga which is amongst the mid-tier accounting firms in Kuala Lumpur to broaden her understanding on various corporate services including accounting, advisory, taxation and consulting services. She served numerous clients across a variety of industries including education institutions, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, oil and gas, telecommunications and media.
Besides statutory audits, she has extensive experience in auditing internal controls for globally listed clients that are subject to PCAOB standards and have a presence in multiple locations. Her expertise encompasses evaluating the operating effectiveness of internal controls and assessing their efficiency through thorough testing processes.
In addition to her audit background, she has experience in investment banking, which provided her with valuable insights into corporate loan financing and asset management. She was also assigned to the CEO’s office, where she collaborated with McKinsey & Company on cost-cutting projects.

Raymond Tang has over 30 years’ experience in servicing clients with accounting, audit, taxation and commercial sectors. He has vast experience in the area of accounting, audit, taxation and has a deep understanding of the client’s business accounting practices. Throughout his professional career, he has developed a good professional relationship with the firm’s clients. He is meticulous and technically sound when it comes to accounting standards.
Prior to joining DK & CO., he played a crucial overseeing and consolidating financial information for a multi-subsidiary organization. He brings a wealth of experience in accounting for property development, engineering, manufacturing and contract accounting.
With extensive experience across various industries, Raymond leads the Accounting and Audit team utilizing a wide range of ERP systems and accounting software available in the market.
Prior to joining DK & Co, Amutha Malar has vast experience in Tax Compliance mainly preparation of corporate tax computation for trading, textile, investment holding, IT management, Islamic insurance, Oil & Gas, consultancy firms, unit trust organization, medical practitioners, NGO’s and engineering firms.
She has also dealt with indirect tax matters in regards to withholding tax, SST and tax incentives for some corporate tax clients. Besides, she has hands-on experience assisting clients with desk audit and tax audit cases. In addition, she also does preparation of personal tax computation for local individuals and expatriates, which includes payroll, Form E-Returns and EA forms for clients.
Apart from Malaysian tax, she has some experience in Australian and Singapore taxes which were done on a small project with an Audit Firm based in Melbourne.
